Drug Uses
Lotrisone is an effective antifungal agent that treats symptomatic inflammatory tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis and other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How Taken
Lotrisone shouldn't be taken longer than two weeks. Apply the cream onto the affected part of skin and gently rub it into the skin until it's full absorbtion. Do not wash this place for 2–3 hours. Consult your doctor before using Lotrisone.

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. However if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the Missed Dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Storage
Keep the product away heat, moisture and light. The temperature should be between 59–86F (15–30 C). Make sure children cannot reach it.

More Information
Do not share this medicine with others for whom it was not prescribed. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor.

Warnings/Precautions
Before taking Lotrisone, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances, if you are treating a burn or open wound or if you have kidney problems, if you are planning to become pregnant or are breast–feeding. If you become pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Lotrisone during pregnancy. It is unknown if Lotrisone is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast–feeding while you are using Lotrisone, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby. Some medicines may interact with Lotrisone. Therefore tell your doctor of all prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement that you are taking. Lotrisone is for external use only. Avoid getting Lotrisone in your eyes, nose, or mouth. Lotrisone should be used with caution on skin with open wounds. If your symptoms do not improve within 3–5 days or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Use Lotrisone for the full course of treatment. Long–term or repeated use of Lotrisone may cause a second infection. Your doctor may want to change your medicine to treat the second infection. Contact your doctor if signs of a second infection occur. Lotrisone should be used with extreme caution in children younger than 3 months of age. Safety and effectiveness in this age group have not been confirmed.

Possible Side Effects
Among the possible negative side effects are- severe neutropenia (low white blood cells), thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), hemorrhage (gastrointestinal hemorrhage and cerebral hemorrhage), headache, indigestion, flushing.
